Winter is almost upon us again and those summer shoes are fast becoming unwearable. So, what styles of women’s shoes will be strutting down the catwalk this season? You can’t go wrong with aviator-style lace-up boots. They tend to be available in suede or brown leather and come in a popular lace-up style. The interior and trim tends to be finished with a sheepskin fleece, giving you the ultimate in warmth and comfort against the snow as well as being at the height of fashion.

If large boots aren’t quite your thing, why not try some warm and cozy shoes or ankle boots? The sheepskin fleece effect is also available in the moccasin style ankle boot and can often be found in a soft, sandy suede color. Often, the cuffs can be turned either up or down allowing you to either show the wonderful fleece lining off to your friends or turn the cuffs up and keep that lovely warm coziness to yourself. Well, I know which I’d choose!

Although fleece-lined boots and shoes may be really cool, they’re not terrible stylish or sophisticated. Fear not, though, as long-leg black leather boots are still very much in vogue. If you’re after that sleek and sophisticated look, you can’t go wrong with soft black leather or chocolate brown suede. These types of boots are comfortable, sexy and stylish. The heels aren’t very large this season either, so you shouldn’t have any difficulty walking in your sexy new boots.

If you’re planning on hitting the slopes this winter, you’ll probably already have some ski boots. Ski style boots are set to be one of the biggest sellers this winter, with pink and white leather styles being most popular. The quilted finish on the outside, coupled with the lace-up style and comfortable, waterproof interior is going to be a big hit in the stores and sets off the winter look perfectly whether you’re on a ski slope or a sidewalk.

Fashion doesn’t always go hand in hand with practicality and sometimes it’s nice to go out in something a little more sleek and stylish than a pair of boots. The good news is that peep shoe toes are still very fashionable in both black leather and soft colored suede. Suede may not be a great idea in rain or snow, but certainly gives off a sexier look than black leather – particularly if worn in red. The long heels give your body that extra curve and posture, finishing off the look perfectly.

The shoes you choose to put on every morning are as important as any other piece of clothing you wear. Whether its a nice pair of boots or casual loafers, your feet can say a lot about your fashion sense. In order to stay current with the times, a man should have footwear that is as fashionable as they are comfortable. Below is a short list of the most stylish and easy-to-wear shoes you can find.

Leather Boots – Mark Nason has set the standard for the casual men’s leather boot and is a style that you should emulate with your look. Their sleek, leather designs can compliment a wide variety of looks by combining the style of a cowboy boot with the functionality of an urban leather loafer. Together, you have something that is comfortable, flexible, and incredibly stylish. A pair of Timberland work boots will not be able to pass in any fashionable crowd. While they’re great for the winter or work environments, their awkward thickness around the ankles will give you an equally uncomfortable appearance.

Oxford Dress Shoes – If you’re looking for one pair of dress shoes to have in your closet, the oxford-style leather dress shoe is your prime choice. The complimentary style of this shoe can either be worn formally or casually without worrying if you’re under or over dressed for the occasion. Its an essential staple to any mans wardrobe where fashion and sleek comfort is concerned.

Loafers – A truly fashionable statement that conveys sophistication in a casual environment is the leather loafer. This shoe is a true staple to have in any mans closet as it can be worn in any informal setting whether you pair it with jeans and a button-up shirt for an evening out or a relaxed dinner with business acquaintances.

Leather Sandals – Reserved for vacations and beaches, the leather sandal provides the ultimate comfort for those truly casual settings. Often seen being worn to beachside pubs, you can pair these with some casual shorts for a truly relaxed look, yet remain completely stylish. The leather material displays that you have taste in your casual wear as opposed to sporting a pair of foam flip-flops.

A mans shoe can tell an entire story about its wearer whether its the oxford dress shoe or the casual leather sandal. Your sense of sophistication and ability to pair the right footwear for any occasion tells a lot about both your sense of style and how much you value your appearance. Be prepared for any situation by having one pair of each style of shoe mentioned here in your closet when the time comes, you’ll be thankful.
